The UBC School of Creative Writing offers a wide-ranging and multi-disciplinary curriculum designed to provide students with the tools to succeed as practicing writers and the opportunity to work with faculty who are themselves distinguished writers. It is an intensive, diverse and collaborative environment for crafting literary excellence.

The school offers three degree streams: MFA, BFA, and BA Minor. Building on the long and successful history of Creative Writing at UBC, the School opened in 2020.
