Minor in Health and Society

The Health and Society Minor offers a multi-disciplinary exploration of issues pertaining to health, illness, and society from perspectives inherent to the social sciences and humanities.

The Minor comprises at least 30 and no more than 42 credits of Health and Society approved courses.1

At least 18 credits must be from courses numbered 300 or higher. Students should ensure that they have prerequisites for courses they plan to take for the Minor, and should have their course selections approved by the Coordinating Committee on a yearly basis.
