The Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies offers undergraduate programs of study in Italian that lead to the Bachelor of Arts.

Major in Italian

Currently the Department of French, Hispanic and Italian Studies does not offer a Major in Italian.

Minor in Italian

To graduate with a Minor in Italian, students must complete:

Lower-Level Requirements

  • ITAL_V 101, 102, 201, 202
  • Students with heritage knowledge of Italian may not need to take all, or even any, of ITAL_V 101, 102, 201; they should discuss their placement with the Italian advisor.

Upper-Level Requirements

Students must complete 18 credits from any 300-level or 400-level courses in ITAL or ITST (excluding ITAL_V 342).
