Minor in Critical Studies in Sexuality
Critical Studies in Sexuality (CSIS) offers a multi-disciplinary minor for students who seek a specialization in this subject, which extends to and informs research within a broad university domain, including law, health, education, Indigenous studies, sociology, social work, and psychology.
Students registered in the minor must contact the CSIS advisor for course planning and to have their course selections approved.
Lower Level Requirements
12 credits total:
- 3 credits of CSIC_V 200
- 9 credits of 100- and 200-level courses with a significant focus on sexuality studies, chosen from a list of courses at CSIS and approved by the CSIS advisor
Upper Level Requirements
18 credits total:
- 3 credits of CSIS_V 300
- 15 credits of 300- and 400- level courses with a significant focus on sexuality in content, readings, or projects. These credits may be fulfilled through any combination of the CSIS_V courses listed below and non-CSIS_V courses approved by the advisor:
