The Bachelor of Science in Wood Products Processing (B.Sc. (Wood Products Processing)) program will provide graduates with an understanding of wood as a material. Emphasis is placed on a basic understanding of engineering concepts, business, communication, and problem solving skills to produce graduates capable of managing a wood products manufacturing facility. Graduates will be expected to plan and construct production facilities, develop new methods and processes, and manage production control and coordinate personnel.
The program consists of a minimum of 137 credits in-session for all students. An additional 15 credits of extra-sessional work is required by students in the five-year co-operative Major.
