The Master of Architecture (M.Arch.) program is a professional graduate degree that satisfies the certification requirements of the Canadian Architectural Certification Board and provides an accredited pathway toward licensure as a registered architect in Canada.
The program requires completion of 117 credits in a combination of required and elective course work. Architectural design is at the core of the curriculum with required course work in design media, technology, history, theory, and professional practice, contributing to a well-rounded curriculum. The Master of Architecture studies culminate in a twelve-credit Graduate Project.
The Master of Architecture may be completed in three years of full-time study. Applicants approved for advanced placement may complete the degree in two years of full-time study.
The Master of Architecture is offered as a full-time, in-person program.
