Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics

Program Overview

The Graduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics is an online program that provides clinicians with foundational knowledge and skills to assume roles on clinical informatics teams in healthcare organizations. Courses are offered in the Fall, Winter and Summer terms, delivered online with asynchronous discussion activities and assignments. 

Admission Requirements

Applicants must have an academic background in a relevant health sciences professional program and a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Applicants must meet the minimum admission requirements established by the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Program Requirements

Students must successfully complete the 9-credit requirement within one year, with registration in 1, 3-credit courses each term.

Students seeking to take an informal break from their studies must discuss their intentions with the graduate program office in advance. Failure to register for two consecutive terms may result in the student being required to withdraw.
