Students enrolled in the Master of Architecture program are governed by the Academic Regulations of the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies, including those pertaining to academic progress, appeals, leaves of absence, withdrawal, reinstatement, readmission, and the maximum time permitted for completion of the degree.
Grading and Progression Requirements
Minimum Passing Grade
The minimum passing grade in all courses taken while enrolled in the Master of Architecture program is 60%.
Credits in the 60–67% Range
No more than 15 credits with grades in the 60–67% range may be applied toward degree requirements.
Design Studio Progression
A minimum grade of 68% is required in each of ARCH_V 500, ARCH_V 501, ARCH_V 520, ARCH_V 521, and ARCH_V 540 (or any substituting design studio course) to advance to the subsequent design studio.
Repeat Course Requirement
A minimum grade of 74% is required when repeating a failed course.
