University Preparation for High School Students

UBC Extended Learning offers a number of non-credit programs and courses to provide Canadian and international high school students, ages 15 - 18 with a solid foundation for academic success. University preparation courses include writing university applications, and building academic skills and developing mental health and awareness. UBC’s Pre-University Program Future Global Leaders offers high school students a summer program to experience university life on campus as a commuter or student living in residence, or high school students can take first-year level introductory courses online. Programs take place at the UBC Vancouver campus in the summer and online in the fall, winter, and summer terms.
