The collection is comprised of books, journals, and multimedia dealing with teaching strategies, curriculum evaluation, educational technology and research in education, as well as children and young adult books, school textbooks, and multimedia for K-12. A high priority is placed on materials that reflect Canadian content and approaches and materials pertaining to BC Education including French language learning resources. In addition, there are historical textbooks and a Canadian Children's Book Centre regional collection. Research and finding aids for teacher candidates, graduate students, and faculty are available online through the Branch website.
