UBC Library's Instruction program provides training at all levels on getting the most from electronic and print information sources. Classes cover topics such as subject-specific research skills, using databases to find journal articles and specialized information, and finding relevant research materials beyond UBC's collections. The program features hands-on workshops, self-paced online tutorials, and instructional sessions for credit courses, both during and outside class time.
Faculty can contact their subject librarian to enquire about embedding library instruction within their classes. Additional library instructional sessions are available through UBC Library's calendar of events.
