    Classical Latin, Part I.

  2. LATN_V 102 (3) Beginning Latin II

    Classical Latin, Part II. Prerequisite: LATN 101.

  3. LATN_V 201 (3) Intermediate Latin I

    Completion of the grammatical foundations of classical Latin, Part I. Prerequisite: LATN 102.

  4. LATN_V 301 (3) Intermediate Latin II

    Completion of the grammatical foundations of classical Latin, Part II; an introduction to the reading of unadapted passages of Latin literature and discussion of their cultural contexts. Credit will be granted for only one of LATN 202 or LATN 301. Pre-requisites: LATN 201. Equivalency: LATN 202.

  5. LATN_V 350 (3) Latin Literature of the Classical Period (Prose)

    Readings in Latin Prose. Prerequisite: One of LATN 301, LATN 202, LATN 200.

  6. LATN_V 351 (3) Latin Literature of the Classical Period (Verse)

    Readings in Latin Verse. Prerequisite: One of LATN 301, LATN 200, LATN 202..

  7. LATN_V 401 (3-12) Latin Prose

    Studies in history, oratory and/or philosophy. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 401, LATN 501. Prerequisite: One of LATN 350, LATN 351. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  8. LATN_V 402 (3-12) Latin Verse

    Studies in narrative verse, comedy, satire, elegiac and lyric poetry. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 402, LATN 502. Prerequisite: One of LATN 350, LATN 351. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  9. LATN_V 403 (3-12) Studies in Latin Prose and Verse

    Thematic studies using both Latin prose and Latin verse. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 403, LATN 503. Prerequisite: One of LATN 350, LATN 351. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  10. LATN_V 501 (3-12) Latin Prose

    History, oratory and/or philosophy. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 401, LATN 501. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  11. LATN_V 502 (3-12) Latin Verse

    Narrative verse, comedy, satire, elegiac and lyric poetry. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 402, LATN 502. The credit value for this course will be determined in consultation with the student prior to the registration. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  12. LATN_V 503 (3-12) Studies in Latin Prose and Verse

    Advanced thematic studies using both Latin prose and Latin verse. A maximum of 12 credits can be granted for either one of or any combination of LATN 403, LATN 503. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.

  13. LATN_V 525 (3-6) Seminar in Latin Literature

  14. LATN_V 545 (3-6) Seminar in Latin Epigraphy
