MECH_V 375 (3) Heat Transfer

Steady and transient conduction. Radiation heat transfer. Convective heat and mass transfer in pipes and from external surfaces. Design of heat exchangers. [3-0-1] Prerequisite: Either (a) MECH 225 or (b) one of CHBE 241, ENPH 257, PHYS 203 and one of CHBE 251, CIVL 215, MECH 280. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
