MATH_V 322 (3) Introduction to Group Theory

Groups, cosets, homomorphisms, group actions, p-groups, Sylow theorems, composition series, finitely generated Abelian groups. [3-0-0] Prerequisite: Either (a) a score of 68% or higher in one of MATH 223, MATH 310 or (b) one of MATH 152, MATH 221, MATH 223 and a score of 80% or higher in MATH 220.
