Outline of the physics and chemistry of interfaces; discussion of the part played by surface effects in technical processes. Credit will be granted for only one of CHBE 357, CHBE 487, CHBE 587, FNH 419 or FOOD 519. Recommended Prerequisite: One of CHBE 241, FNH 300. [3-0-0] Prerequisite: Fourth-year standing in BASc. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
