Technologies for clean production of chemicals and materials, green chemistry and engineering, industrial ecology and sustainable development; advanced applications of environmental impact assessment including life-cycle assessment, total cost analysis and environmental systems analysis; reduce/recycling/reuse of wastes and by-products. Recommended prerequisite: CHBE_V 370. Restricted to students with third-year or higher standing in B.A.Sc. or B.Sc. This course is not eligible for Credit/D/Fail grading.
